Nancy (Liz) started Liz J. Design Company in 1983 in a single room with no computers, no heat, no windows. Selling printing by day, creating designs by night — Nancy’s passion for client-centered design warmed her soul and motivated her onward. Today, 28 years later, that same passionate embrace for people and love for design is what Nancy and Liz J. Design are all about.

Corporate Branding and Identity took center stage in 1999. Liz J. Design worked closely with companies to either update an image or begin anew. Company naming and trademark, logo design and graphic standards were all part of the mix. Specialties include architecture, healthcare, non-profits, and working with commitees and large design teams for identity, logo design, and websites.

Recently, Nancy has been focusing on expanding the photography portfolio with a special interest in medical device macro photography.

Liz J. Design is a proud Platinum Sponsor for U.S. Green Building Council (USGBC) Minnesota Chapter and partners with Arc Greater Twin Cities on many campaigns and special projects, including the Arc Gala and ongoing capital campaign.

Giving back to the community, non-profits, start-ups, and individual causes run close to heart. That is why Liz J. gladly donates a portion of all sales to the Lisa Speer Foundation. Lisa is just one of many who has been affeted by breast cancer but continues to “take one step at a time”.
